The client in this project requested a larger bedroom area in order to accommodate at least a queen bed and some storage to make this apartment more rentable. The solution to working within a tiny bedroom was to close off the existing bedroom doorway and make a new entry through a condemned in-wall cupboard in the living room. A custom built his and hers closet framed the new queen bed, a neutral paint color on the walls, spot lights in the ceiling, and an updated bathroom gave this space a fresh new look. In order to maximize on the budget, most of the existing furniture was refinished, re-upholstered and re-used. Mission accomplished!
